I Missed the Star Wars Hot Wheels Comic Con Exclusive

Now sold out at Matty Collector, the SDCC exclusive Hot Wheels Star Wars Darth Vader looks awesome. I love when the Hot Wheels cars get stylized and unusual, and the Darth Vader car certainly comes across as both stylized and unusual.

The real question is: When will this design and others hit stores? This Jedi Temple Archives post from May says that the cars are up for pre-order at BBTS and EE, but when I check both sites there are no cars listed. Cruel, especially after seeing the C-3PO and R2-D2 car designs.

So what’s up with this series?
