I Need a Gobots Guide!
How is it when I search for Gobots books on Amazon.com* there isn’t a guide to the toys? It has taken several years, but time has swung my opinion of the old eighties Gobots toys and now I want a book in my collection that shows all of the old toys.
And there’s no way I could ever create such a book — imagine the cost to collect everything! — but I would happily drop $50 or $75 for a really nice hardcover collection packed with great photos of all of the toys. Someone get on that ASAP!
Yeah, I’m surprised there isn’t a field guide to Go Bots…
I must admit to having quite a fascination over GoBots due to the European version, Robo Machines, having stories that featured in the Eagle comic here in the UK. Might be worth seeing if there’s a guide relating to Robo Machines that some Europeans have put together (and it’s certainly worth tracking down the comics, they’re fun, although perhaps not quite on par with Simon Furman’s run on Transformers UK).
I have this Japanese book:

I can’t read it but it has lots of lovely pictures.
@David Murray – Want!!! I see one on ebay for $160. Ouch!
The Machine Robo book is awesome. There is alot of stuff I wish I could find on ebay or find one of those Japanese auction sites that I could get stuff off of.
This brought up another thought, I would love a Brave Series book. They have some amazing toy designs.
