I Need More Time For This
I’ve always had a love for “how to” books, especially art instruction books and suggestions on comic creation, and seeing How to Draw Noir Comics* has me really wishing life would give me six months or so to just sit down and create my own comic. I know that’s unlikely to happen, but dreams are free.

Maybe it’s time I take a more serious stab at some short comics to post here at battlegrip.com. The question I keep coming back to is: “Do I use digital techniques, or do I now get back to using pen and paper?”
How to Draw Noir Comics: The Art and Technique of Visual Storytelling is an instructional book based on the cinematic, high contrast noir style of acclaimed comic book and graphic novel illustrator, Shawn Martinbrough.
