I Need Your Help
So I recently changed to a small netbook, an Acer Aspire One, and the change meant that I switched from using Photoshop to GIMPShop for my photo editing (I’m experimenting).
So far the Acer Aspire One has been a great portable machine but I’m not yet 100% comfortable with using GIMPShop.
So here’s where I need some help. I’ve used the same camera for the photography here at battlegrip.com — a Sony Cybershot — since I launched the site but I’m wondering if GIMPShop is giving me the quality that I want. So what I need is some feedback on the review photos. Have you noticed any difference in the photos over the past month? Better? Worse? No change?
The computer is great and I think the photo quality hasn’t changed but I’d like to get some opinions.
I don’t notice any difference between the reviews of the last month to the ones before.
Yeah… same here. Had you not told us, I doubt I would have ever noticed.
@clark and monsterforge – Okay, I guess it’s just me worrying for no reason. Thanks for the help.
Anyone else have comments about the recent photos?
I think I recently noticed your photos getting a little better, though I’m not sure whether that was in the past month or prior to that. I think that has more to do with the white background (as opposed to your green backdrop), though.
That said, I’d probably prefer unedited shots of the toy — shots with the brightness/contrast modified and/or parts of the image edited out (while they can look much more appealing at times) tend to make me wonder if what I’m seeing is a truly accurate representation of the product in hand.
