I Vant to Bite Your Finger
Something tells me that this 1979 game from Hasbro just wouldn’t go over well in today’s market. Not that the game looks bad or anything, but in I Vant to Bite Your Finger (BoardGameGeek entry) kids put their finger into the Dracula mouth and may get “bitten” by the game. Looks cool to me, and I’ve no idea how I missed this when I was a kid. I mean, if this commercial was on TV in the early eighties then I should remember it, right?

I had this! My little sister and I used to play it all the time! I would also pull the vampire ink cartridge out and put little red bite marks on pretty much everything. Such a neat game. I wonder why, in this renaissance of monsters, why it hasn’t been reissued. It has a fun fright factor when he bites you, and I bet kids would dig it.
@rosewater – I suspect there’s safety/perception concerns these days with a game like this. It does seem like a fun idea and there’s probably a way to do something similar today. Probably better.
Wow! This looks really, really cool, but also potentially sketchy, too.
