IDW Limited Presents Transformers: Last Stand of the Wreckers
If all you want is the story then the Transformers: Last Stand of the Wreckers* trade paperback is for you. It’s a fun story, and the Nich Roche and Guido Guidi artwork is gorgeous. And, even better, the entire story stands fairly well on its own and can be enjoyed even if you haven’t read IDW’s other Transformers comics.
But if you want more than just the story then you need to visit IDW Limited and take a look at the two different collectible editions of the book:
- Deluxe Hardcover Red Label.
- Deluxe Hardcover Black Label.
- A third, Blue, is mentioned in mail, but doesn’t appear on the site.

Always dug these limited editions by IDW (especially the TMNT ones) but they’re so damn expensive, especially when I already own one version of the story.
@The Daytime Ninja – If these came with the extra stuff as pages in the book — loose art prints are just more stuff I’ll never get hung — I’d be all over them. As the books currently exist, though, they’re something I admire but never buy.
