“I’m OK, You’re Toast” and the BattleTech CCG in 1998

There weren’t many BattleTech CCG articles published in the Duelist magazine back in the nineties, so two-page spreads like this one from 1998 are special. This offers up a look at the game’s MechWarrior expansion (booster pack designs, look inside a booster) and was written as a teaser to get players excited about the set. This is considered the last good expansion for the game; the next set, Arsenal, is considered by many fans to be the broken expansion that helped lead to the death of the game.
