Image United #1 Sells Out
I went to the comic store today to buy a copy of Image United #1 (mentioned here) but the store was out of copies. Well, Image is now reporting that they sold out of the first issue on the day of release. Weird and unexpected.
“IMAGE UNITED, the six-part crossover featuring Image Founders Erik Larsen, Rob Liefeld, Todd McFarlane, Whilce Portacio, Marc Silvestri and Jim Valentino, made its debut today with a near-immediate sellout at the distribution-level.”

I’m not quite sure how this happened, but I guess enough comic fans and casual readers were interested in the event that every copy was sold. I’m sure some stores still have copies on the shelves, but Image has announced that a reprint will be available next month.
