Incoming: Masters of the Universe Moss Man Reviews
Last week the latest Masters of the Universe Classics action figure, Moss Man, caused quite a stir when he sold out in moments . . . and then proceeded to be “sold” on eBay for about twice the Matty Collector price.
Mattel, please reduce the order limit to 4 or 5! A limit of 10? That’s great for scalpers, but it isn’t helping fans.
Anyway, what this all means is that the Moss Man reviews will start hitting this week. Or maybe I should say are hitting this week, since Figure Portal has already posted a Moss Man review.
I didn’t order a Moss Man for myself, but I expect that if I really want one the prices on eBay will settle down eventually and I’ll be able to snag one for about $30. Which is roughly what he cost when he was new. Plus, Matty Collector has already demonstrated a willingness to re-release figures, and I can’t see how a sell-out this fast isn’t being considered for a second run.
word from Mattel is that he will definitely be re-released, but not until at least 2011. It’s going to be a sad week of reviews for me.
Well, i managed to snag one of these for $35. Been trying to look the other way when these came out but i cant any longer. I really want to collect these guys.
