Inside Image and SuperPatriot #4 in 1993
The 1993 SuperPatriot mini-series (Amazon.com search*) never has gotten a lot of respect, but ever since the first issue was released over two decades ago I’ve been a fan.
I mentioned the series earlier this year (posted here) when I found an old interview with Keith Giffen, Dave Johnson, and Erik Larsen, and last weekend I ran across an old Inside Image for fifty cents and just had to grab it. Surprise, the solicitation page for SuperPatriot #4 was hiding in the comic! I’ll never grow tired of Dave Johnson’s artwork that he created for the series.
