Inspired Thread at rebelscum.com
Throwing the net wider in an attempt to collect support for my book on the Kenner Star Wars Mini-Rigs, I’ve started a thread at rebelscum.com requesting contributions. What’s awesome is some cool stuff is already starting to happen in just the few short hours since I posted the forum thread.
Fingers crossed that I get some really special and unusual stuff for the book.

I find two things a bit funny: you and I are both getting more interested in Star Wars at the same time, and we’re both into Mini-Rigs. I picked up the MLC-3 and the MTV-7 a while back. The thing is, I bought them not for Star Wars, but because I thought they made good generic in-scale vehicles for the Alien ReAction figures…
@Poe Ghostal – I suspect the new movie in 2015 is having an effect on many of us. Something I’ve been noticing in the office is more Star Wars talk — from multiple people — than we used to have.
Here’s hoping you get some great stuff for the book!
@Poe, I bought several mini rigs on ebay to customize for RPG minis and found myself unable to deface them. Re-Action vehicles seem like an excellent repurposing idea! I’m eagerly awaiting the Firefly and Escape from NY figs myself.
Oh, you got some great help there! the one guy having all the original photos and transparents, the card art proofs and uncut boxes is your man!
