“Introducing 22364” – Unpublished X-Files CCG Expansion

Last week’s sell sheet for the unreleased X-Files CCG 2 Player Starter Kit isn’t the only bit of advertising that exists for unproduced X-Files collectible card game product from the nineties. Following the release of the first expansion set, 101361 (advertised here and here), there were plans for another booster expansion.

This ad is from the November 1997 issue of InQuest magazine and is one of the few looks we have of the unpublished second booster expansion for the game. Named for Agent Scully’s birthdate, 22364 would have brought more of the third season of The X-Files to the game. The Wikipedia page states that the expansion was “apparently finished, and ready to be produced, when the game was terminated in 1997.”
