“It’s Pac-Man Time.”
This Pac-Man watch advertisement comes out of the October 1983 issue of Boys’ Life and demonstrates the radical advertising and product design of the eighties. I mean, just look at the watch (and clock!) design in the ad and tell me those minimalistic graphics aren’t awesome.

What’s even more fun is that Pac-Man merchandise (Amazon.com search*) is still available today, over three decades after this ad ran. I never imagined that such a simple game concept could go on to have such strong longevity in our stores.
