January, 1985 Clearance on the Rancor Monster
Looking at this 1985 newspaper ad makes me think it was originally in color. The images are dark and obscured enough that, when combined with the shape of the page, I just cannot see how this was anything but a color insert into the newspaper that day. Damn, now I wish there was a color newspaper archive so we could see what this looked like when it was new back in 1985.
