JCPenny and Shogun Warriors in 1977
I know, I know. Looking at newspapers from 1977 won’t help me uncover G.I. Joe advertisements of the eighties, but there are times when exploring that you follow a thread that leads to somewhere unplanned. That’s how I ran across this JCPenny ad featuring Mattel’s Shogun Warriors. I promise I’ll get out of the seventies immediately and back to the search for G.I. Joe toys in the eighties.
