K-Mart Exclusive Toys
Yesterday afternoon I stopped at a K-Mart south of Boston and immediately hit the toys section . . . where I found exclusives! You have to remember that there isn’t a K-Mart in Austin so all of these are rare and new to me.
The Captain America pack looks pretty good, but there wasn’t anything inside the set that made be buy it. And after how sad the U.S. Agent action figure turned out to be (review here) I don’t see much reason to buy a set of three figures I am not excited about. Stay at the store, toys!
Next we see the exclusive Golden Age Batman with Batmite. Eh. I’ve already got a Golden Age Batman (hey, I should review him!) and I do not need a Batmite.
And now two Transformers sets, but they’re from the live action movies and even though I was kinda tempted by the mini-bot repaints (wait, are those classified as mini-bots?) in the end I left the toys there. I’m still not completely sold on the Human Alliance series. But knowing me I won’t actually start wanting these until I get back to Austin.
The Iron Man 2 – Proving Grounds set is nice, but I already have one thanks to the generosity of Matt Doughty (Onell Design). And look at that stack of now clearance priced sets. $13 and the three figures are all yours.
The final entry is a repack of some cute DC Imaginext toys. Nothing all that special or exciting in this set, but it’s an exclusive so I figured I had to snap the photo.

Good lord, you actually found the Batman/Batmite exclusive in MA?? I’m shocked.
@Poe – I hadn’t realized it was hard to find. This was at a Big K-Mart south of Boston while I was driving to Pembroke. They seemed to have several of them.
DO like that holographic iron man in the 3 pack. Less excited about the others though.
