“Keep on truckin'” in 1981
After that Stompers and Happy Meal newspaper ad from earlier this week I wanted to see what other Stompers info I could find online. That desire soon led me to this 1981 article that was published in Kiplinger’s Personal Finance. It’s a tiny piece on kids and trucks, but two of the three paragraphs cover Schaper’s Stompers which helps illustrate just how popular these toys were in the early eighties.
