Keeping BattleGrip Stocked With Posts

Every now and then, when chatting with other toy collectors and bloggers, the question comes up asking how I keep battlegrip.com updated fairly regularly. Well, there’s no real secret to is: I schedule posts in an attempt to keep the site always stocked with something a week or two out. WordPress allows for post scheduling so I take advantage of free moments here or there to add to the upcoming posts. I don’t always have the site as prepared as I would like, but the scheduling tools make it easier to always have something to share with you guys.

A peek at the BattleGrip post calendar as of a few days ago. Notice that there are holes and that several days only have a single post scheduled.

Back when I was first starting the site I read No One Cares What You Had for Lunch* and immediately latched onto the idea of “curating the web.” I’ve mentioned this before, but I feel it important to point out that the concept goes perfectly with scheduling posts.

Anyway, this bit of information is for those of you who (every now and then) ask where I find the time to keep the site updated. It’s not an all of the time thing, but through the magic of scheduled posts I can create the illusion that I contribute something new every single day.
