“Kellogg’s School Supplies Center is open now!”
This 1980 comic advertisement (from the back cover of a Richie Rich comic book) combines two of my favorite things: Cereal mascots and school supplies! Reportedly, there were offers on Kellogg’s cereal back in 1980 where you could send in proof-of-purchase seals and get “great school supplies.” Awesome, now I’m gonna lose hours of my time searching online for information on these items which appear to include pencils, a pencil box, a sharpener, and a calendar.
