Kenner Star Wars Laser Pistol Toy at Children’s Palace

November 25, 1979. Toy guns were a fun thing back when I was a kid, and the coolest kids in the school had the Kenner Star Wars toy guns that were released in the late seventies. This ad for the Laser Pistol shows us that the gun cost $7.87 that Christmas, and looking at this I can honestly say I’d still rather have the four action figures you could have bought for $8 back then instead of this toy gun. It was a cool toy and all, but listen, people, when I say: Star Wars figures are the best gift for seven-year-old me that holiday season!
