Kenner Stormtrooper and Emperor Action Figure Discovery
Yesterday afternoon, after completing all of the work we needed to handle, Gina and I explored a small comic shop in Bismarck, ND, where we found two carded Kenner Star Wars action figures (as well as assorted other goodies). It didn’t take a lot of time to decide that “yes, these two go home with us.” The shop gave us a box and a lot of bubble wrap, so the next task is to protect these for the flight home.
That Stormtrooper looks fantastic! The card is a bit beaten, but the figure is shiny!!!
Man, that’s a fantastic find! One of the true joys of my childhood was opening Star Wars figures. I still remember the (probably toxic!) smell of the plastic of those particular toys.
I imagine these won’t be getting ripped open though! 😉
@Jay – No, these join our (tiny!) collection of MOC Star Wars action figures. I’ll never own a complete set of the toys packaged, but the few that we have here at home look incredible all lined up.
