The printer should be shipping my latest book in a few weeks, and it’s fitting that the new collection of Star Wars newspaper ads is wrapping up just as I sift through the Google newspaper archives and uncover this Kenner surprise: the Ewoks and Droids action figures at ToysRUs! Priced at $3/each, the toys didn’t do all that well at the time, but I know a lot of fans who would happily pay 10x this price for carded Ewoks and Droids figures today.
