Kenner’s Knight 2000 Voice Car
There’s always the commercial if you need more, but you can start your day out with this 1985 Walmart newspaper ad for the Kenner Knight Rider talking toy and Michael Knight action figure. The toy’s not at all cheap these days, and that $22 price tag in 1985 wasn’t at all cheap at the time; $22 in 1985 dollars translates into almost $50 today.
I remember my cousin had this and Thundercats, both things I was super into but never had any toys from their respective toylines. Needless to say, I liked spending time at my cousin’s house for reasons other than his personality.
