Kenner’s Star Wars Action Figures 50% Off in 1984
December 23, 1984. By this point, stores were looking to clear their shelves of Kenner’s Star Wars action figures and make room for more popular toys. My book dedicated to Star Wars toy ads of the eighties, Collect These Figures and Accessories*, shows off a lot of fantastic deals back when the toys were new, but this particular ad doesn’t appear in the book leading to one important question: Do I need to create a second volume?
