Kenner’s Star Wars in the 1978 Montgomery Ward Christmas Catalog
Working on Each Sold Separately* and Action Figures Not Included* left me with an appreciation for catalogs and a desire to uncover more flyers and sales material from the seventies and eighties.
Fortunately, some of the cool stuff is online already for us to enjoy. For example, this page posted at Flickr shows of Kenner’s Star Wars action figures and vehicles that were available for Christmas in 1978, and looking at the page design brings back wonderful memories of flipping through these catalogs when I was a kid. There’s so much fun in those old catalogs!
