Kenner’s Super Powers for Easter in 1985!

April 3, 1985. It was somewhere around this date that I first encountered the Super Powers action figures. Kenner did an incredible job with this series, but I was too lost in Transformers at this time to squander gift opportunities and allowance monies on superhero action figures when transforming robot toys were out there. Still, I can look back at this newspaper ad and clearly understand why someone would have chosen superheroes over robots . . . that’s just not the choice I made.
