Kickstarter – Dime Novel Legends 3.75-Inch Scale Action Figures

Okay, action figure fans. It turns out that the Dime Novel Legends 3.75-inch scale action figure series is looking for support on Kickstarter, and these modern figures are straight out of the Wild West. It’s starting to appear that if the big toymakers won’t support the 3.75-inch scale, well, the fans will step up and produce that support.

This series kinda caught me by surprise, but how can I ignore something that goes so deep at launch on a theme. Hell, just check out this one figure . . . and then visit the Kickstarter project to see the entire lineup of toys.

Badlands Vigilante – This figure is exclusive to the “All-In!” Kickstarter© package. He has a unique portrait sculpt, removable “10-gallon” hat, bandana, suit-coat, gun belt with holster, uniquely painted lever-action “Saddle” rifle, and a shining silver six-gun.

  1. Hello. This comment is in response to an article you posted 4 years ago about Spider-Man cereal figurines you could get inside Mexican cereal boxes and thought I might be of some help. I was trying to do some research on them and came across your article. I own (2) of the elephants, named Melvin. I was in Guadalajara spring break 2013 at a local “mini-Costco” called Coop and came across 10 Corn Flakes boxes advertising these figures. I opened all ten boxes and to my disappointmeant pulled just (3) figures, all Melvin the elephant. He is the mascot for Coco Krispies in Mexico. On the boxes it clearly states (in Spanish) that you either get (1) random figurine OR Spider Cards trading cards per box. You must’ve gotten cards in the box you opened instead of a figurine. I was really trying to get Toucan Sam or Tony the Tiger but only got Melvin. I gave one away while I was there and brought the other two home to Salem, Oregon.
It seemed you, and others who commented, were unsure as to whether or not these actually came inside boxes so I just thought I’d let ya know. Have you seen any since your post four years ago? Take care, -David
