Kickstarter – Mech Maker
Here’s an awesome idea. The Mech Maker Kickstarter project offers us all a chance to customize — and then print — giant robot miniatures for tabletop gaming. Pretty pricey approach to gaming figures, but if you’re one of those makerlikes who owns your own 3d printer — or has easy access to one — then this might be your thing.
The mechs look cool, the idea is fantastic, and I wish these guys luck in reaching their $50,000 goal. It’s not looking good, but even if they don’t make it I hope they go back and try to find a way to offer the printed mechs for less.
