Kickstarter – RENDER K – A Custom Machined Pen

From the time I was a little kid I’ve had a fascination with office supplies. Pencils. Notebooks. Rulers. And yes, even pens have attracted me in ways that I cannot explain. I suspect it’s the promise of a blank page and a pen — what will you create? — that has always interested me, and I often try new pens in a never-ending search to find the perfect pen.

Well, the Render K project at Kickstarter may not be that perfect pen, but it looks like it’s going to come close. A metal case designed to be used with Pilot Hi-Tec-C pen refills (search Amazon.com*), the is machined from aluminum or brass so it will be solid, durable, and likely to last for a lot longer than a lot of the pens that I’ve bought over the years.

We are proud to introduce to you a product we are really exited about- the RENDER K. The RENDER K is a machined pen body that works with several popular pen refills, so you can have the look of a custom pen and still maintain the feel of your favorite ink. We designed the RENDER K to work primarily with any of the Pilot Hi-Tec-C refills, but it will also work with any Parker compatible refills as well (including the Fisher PR style Space Pen refill).
