Kickstarter – Robotech RPG Tactics
I first got a peek at the upcoming Robotech RPG Tactics game about a month ago and just knew that it was going to tear up Kickstarter once the project launched. What I didn’t expect, though, was that it would climb so high so very, very fast: Almost $250,000 in support at of this morning . . . with 29 days to go!
Watch the video, and then check the Robotech RPG Tactics Kickstarter page for a look at how to get behind this new miniatures game. And don’t forget to look at all of the minis designs!
Prepare for invasion! Robotech® RPG Tactics™ is a fast paced strategy battle game that expands on the popular Palladium role playing game. Take command of the brave men and women of the United Earth Defense Force to valiantly defend Earth from annihilation. Or, command the alien armies of the Zentraedi Armada to recover an alien artifact of immense power and enslave humankind. Collect your forces from an expanding range of world class game pieces. Relive the massive battles on your tabletop at home to enhance your Robotech® RPG adventures or as a stand-alone game.

The minis from this set look fantastatic!
Not sure if i’d want to play a mini game for Robotech but would love to own some of the pieces.
Question though, does Palladium own the controlling right from Harmony Gold now or is this under their game license umbrella they’ve always had?
It just gets so complicated whenever Macross wants to cross borders with the old contracts over who owns what between east and west im always surprised when Robotech products get made.
I played what I assume is an early version of this at Adepticon last year. It was pretty fast for a minis game, which is nice.
The Veritechs and Destroids are about 40mm tall, and the Battlepods are about 60mm.
Yeah, I Kickstartered this right when they put it up.
@Court – I’m pretty sure this is just licensed from Harmony Gold.
@John Maddening – I suspect my first chance to see the game will be at Origins. But fast sounds great to me!
