Kickstarter – Shadowrun Returns Funded . . . and Still Climbing

The Shadowrun Returns project on Kickstarter (first mentioned here) met its $400,000 goal in he first 28 hours and is still collecting contributions as it passes (as of this writing) $600,000. Yes, it appears that I am getting an iPad* . . . and soon, since my travel companion for next month’s trip to China has suggested that it will both make the trip more enjoyable and that it will be useful when we tour factories in the mainland.

This project is amazing, and with any luck it will keep growing and we’ll see more great features added to the plan. Of course the game won’t be available for next year, but as long as they keep posting updates (and maybe make the level editor easy to use) I think I’ll be quite happy watching everything come together between now and January.
