Kickstarter – Ultrasylvania Graphic Novel
There are a few interesting ideas going on with the Ultrasylvania Kickstarter project. For one, Dracula and Frankenstein’s Monster are presented as world leaders. Neat idea, but it’s the second point — the comic was created by a group of students as a class project — that interests me more. I’m betting that this class was a hell of a lot more fun than many other classes the students had to sit through.
The story for Volume 1 clocks in at 75 pages. This 96-page first edition will also include character designs, page roughs, early layouts, and much more, taking you behind-the-scenes and giving you an inside look at the various processes of the artists.
