Kronoform Robot Time Machine at Osco in 1984
August 2, 1984. This is the cheapest price I’ve uncovered for Takara’s Kronoform robot watch. The two earlier newspaper ads for the toy that I’ve posted before (here and here) each had prices above the $10 mark, so this sub-$10 price tag kinda stands out as special. Now I’m left wondering if digging deeper into the Chicago Tribune will reveal some of the Kronoform toys featured in Super 7 magazine.
