“Lunchbox Choice Like Going To The Toy Store”
After yesterday’s lunchbox post I couldn’t stop. Why should I stop? Google’s newspaper archives has more old lunchbox stories to share, and today we take a peek at 1987 and this Knight News Service article in which the lunchboxes of the day are those very same properties that so many of us collect now.
The toy industry has been compared to the fashion industry before, and in this article I think we can all agree that a more appropriate statement would be: The entertainment and fashion industry’s are unpredictable and wild, with the hottest thing becoming old and tired seemingly overnight.
