M.A.S.K. Switchblade at Circus World in 1985

That Jetfire ad we saw last week deserves a second look, if only because the ad also includes this block for the M.A.S.K. Switchblade toy. Decades ago, as a kid, the Switchblade saw pretty heavy use one fall as I transitioned between Transformers and G.I. Joe; it isn’t too shocking that the bridge between those two Hasbro lines would be this Kenner series. After all, it’s almost as if M.A.S.K. was a marriage of Transformers and G.I. Joe in a single line.
