“Mad Max one more for movie slag heap”
From July 13, 1985 and the Montreal Gazette comes one critic’s take on Mad Mad: Beyond Thunderdome which was then new in theaters. Now I won’t argue that Thunderdome is the weakest of the films, but the review is a bit harsh in its description of the film.
“For reasons too boring to explain, Max is pitted against Blaster in the Thunderdome–a sort of primitive geodesic arena for fights-to-the-death. And for reasons even more boring to explain, Max ends up exiled without food or water in the desert.”
