Manga Spawn Series 2

Yet more proof that the McFarlane Toys advertising of the late nineties were fantastic works of art. This April, 1998 ad for the second series of Manga Spawn action figures (Amazon.com search*) looks amazing, and seeing this makes me wonder why I ever sold and traded away the few Manga Spawn action figures that I once owned.

I suspect the toys weren’t anywhere near as attractive or playable as this ad makes them look . . .
