Manglor Mountain for $8.99

Ideal’s Manglors (see Wikipedia) is one of those obscure, failed toylines that some out there vaguely remember from the early eighties. I’ve shared a few different Manglors newspaper ads over the last few years, and today we go to November 27, 1983, and the Chicago Tribune for an R&E Toys ‘n’ Things advertisement featuring the Manglors playset on sale for just $8.99. Not a bad price at all, especially considering that I’ve seen this same playset listed for over $200 on eBay recently.
