Marvel Medallions in 1988
Today’s classic comic book ad comes from Marvel comics and the summer of 1988. I’m not exactly sure who the target market was for these collectible medallions, but even if these aren’t the sort of thing I would have chased down it’s nice to get a peek at the ad. Actually, I’m probably closer to the target for these medallions today than I was when the ad was new; comics, games, music, and books were more my thing back then. Hmmmm. Almost like today. Things never change?
