Marvel’s X-Men Are Hotter than Ever!
Just how important was the Fox Kids X-Men cartoon (Amazon.com search*) to Marvel’s success today? I’ve no idea, but I’m willing to bet that those animated works of the nineties had at least something to do with the company eventually getting full-length movies produced and in theaters.
This 1993 ad for the Night of the Sentinels (Amazon.com search*) videocassette brings back some fun memories. I may not have watched X-Men all that often on Fox, but I can remember the commercials and just how neat it was to see these characters on television.
And look, the video ad even features the ToysRUs logo! Just a little extra touch to make an already great comic ad a bit better.
