Now here’s a 1986 newspaper advertisement that’s tough to beat. Revco Discount Drug offers up a Halloween sale that includes candy, costumes, and even action figures, reminding all of us of an age when Halloween was as perfect for toys as any other holiday. G.I. Joe and Hot Wheels even appear in the ad, but it’s gotta be that block featuring Masters of the Universe, Centurions, and Chuck Norris that stands out as the best part of the entire page.
