Masters of the Universe Classics “Club Etheria” Subscriptions Close Today

Mattel’s Club Etheria subscriptions close today, so if you’re trying to snatch as many of the Masters of the Universe Classics action figures as possible then this is your last chance to subscribe to this latest series. Focused on the She-Ra arm of the Masters of the Universe series, this subline of six figures starts in July, meaning that once you subscribe you’ve got to wait four months before the first toy arrives.

I hate waiting.

  1. I did not subscribe to Club Etheria, not for lack of want but ultimately bugetary reasons. I have ALWAYS been fond of POP, but the ratio of cost to desire just didn’t win out this time around.

For the sake of MOTU and the vitality of the Classics line as a whole, and for all the POP fans out there who have subbed in to Club Eternia year after year, I certainly do hope it does get the green light.

So last night with less than two hours until the subscription sales closed I went ahead and bought in. How could I not? I’ve been collecting this line since the beginning and I want to see it through to the end the right way.

      Also, Light Hope.

      1. @Prfkt.Tear – Stupid financial decisions. I kinda hesitated as well, but then went for it because I was going to feel really weird seeking these out online and at conventions.

  2. Mattel somehow got me hooked on the POP universe! I subbed for this line because the four horsemen are doing a beautiful job sculpting the ladies and because i have my fingers crossed the mattel keeps their fingers on the quality control as they have done the past year. When starting to collect MOTUC, I never would have imagined that I would sub for club etheria. Go figure

I think that’s just more evidence that (despite complaints and headaches) the Masters of the Universe Classics series is pretty impressive. And I am amazed it’s still going. How long can a toyline — from the top toy business — continue with almost zero retail presence?
