Masters of the Universe Fright Fighter Commercial

If you’ve spent any time reading through The Power and the Honor Foundation Catalog Volume One: The Art of Masters of the Universe Toy Design (reading post here) then you know how much amazing concept artwork Mattel generated back in the eighties. Many of the designs were never brought to life, but fortunately the Fright Fighter did make it all of the way through the process and to store shelves.

It’s a strange design for the series, but if you look at the pics at he-man.org — and watch the commercial, below — I think you’ll see how the Fright Fighter nicely blends the fantastic with the science to bring us a fun toy.
