Masters of the Universe on Sale in 1982
Strawberry Shortcake and Star Wars weren’t alone in that 1982 newspaper ad I’ve pointed at recently. Here we see Mattel’s Masters of the Universe, including the Castle Grayskull playset, at sale prices and complete with an “Advertised on TV” bug to attract attention. Advertised on TV? That’s a bit of an understatement for He-Man in the eighties, right?
