Mattel’s Secret Wars at Payless in 1985

The recent Wheeled Warriors ad and Tomy Tribots ad, if those two toys were all that were presented, would have been an incredible find all alone . . . so imagine how very exciting it was to also spot these Mattel Secret Wars toys on sale in the same newspaper ad! I know the Secret Wars line isn’t anywhere near as popular as Kenner’s Super Powers Collection from the same time, but you’ve gotta admit that it’s fun to see these Secret Wars action figures and vehicles offered up for sale in 1985.
