Mattel’s Wheeled Warriors at Payless in 1985

If we look closely at the ad where yesterday’s Tomy Tribots block was uncovered, we soon find this ad block for Mattel’s Wheeled Warriors, another one of those eighties toylines that is a distant and fuzzy memory for many children of the age. Surprisingly, we’ve not seen anyone attempt to bring the Wheeled Warriors back to toy stores, but that may be mostly because we’re fast approaching a point in time where there aren’t toy stores in the United States. We’re down to the indies, and it’s questionable how long many of those stores can survive in today’s market.
