McFarlane Toys 1997 Product Release Schedule

Yesterday’s 1998 schedule looked lonely, so I grabbed the 1997 McFarlane Toys product catalog so that I could share the 1997 schedule with you. As you can see, the graphic design of the page isn’t nearly as attractive as the 1998 page. The graphic design of McFarlane’s comics and toys dramatically changed in 1997/1998, with the company taking on a look that was a perfect fit for the time. Hell, even today there are a lot of old McFarlane ads and graphics that look better than we see coming from toymakers today.
