Mego Star Trek Action Figures and K-Mart

I have very few books about Mego’s action figures of the seventies (Mego Action Figure Toys*, Mego 8″ Super-Heroes: World’s Greatest Toys!*) and wasn’t a Mego collector when the toys were new, meaning that my Mego experience is quite limited. Still, even though I’m not a Mego fanatic I can appreciate and respect the company’s work of the seventies, and I can even enjoy finds like this 1975 newspaper ad which shows Mego’s Star Trek figures on sale at K-Mart.
