Mekton Starstriker?

I’ve mentioned the Mekton Roadstriker supplement a few times before (ad, cover art), but I’d not heard of “Starstriker” until I ran across this 1985 advertisement from The VIP of Gaming magazine. “Starstriker” sounds like it was a planned expansion to Mekton, but searching online isn’t revealing anything about whatever happened to the book. Anyone have info on where “Starstriker” wound up?
