Mighty Men & Monster Maker in 1982

Here’s one for the kids who wanted to be artists back in the eighties! Tomy’s Mighty Men & Monster Maker is right up there with the Fashion Plates toy (see retroland.com) as an art project/toy which was always awesome. Well, “always” for me was the very few times I got to play with this sort of toy, but seeing this December 5, 1982, newspaper ad makes me ready to chase down a set and spend the day creating new characters.
